Citizen Fathers               

Both articles, "We the People" and "Sovereign Citizen" were timely and well placed in Septembers "Legion".

I, as a citizen father, found several phrases within the discussions of freedom and citizen that gave me hope for fathers and reinforced what I believe about our constitution and responsibility to defend.

It is the state courts and lawyer / judges that remove responsible fathers from the lives of their children, depriving children and fathers’, life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This most sacred of natural, parent child relationships must be preserved. It is the state courts that trample on our God given and constitutional rights to parent our children.

In the article " We the people" by Akhil Reed Amar, " That states may not tyrannize their citizens and if they try, the federal government will stop them, 14th Amendment.

In " Sovereign Citizen, Judith Best’s quote, " we support the rule of law and not of men", gives credence that states judges should follow the law and ensure children have both parents involved in their lives. Her further writings inspire my drive as a citizen father to challenge the men of any state court who trample on my constitutional right to be involved with, and parent my children.

"Spirited men. They will be citizens, not subject" of the courts.

We Legionnaires served our country, raised our families, protected our communities and without our permission are removed from our homes, away from our children without due process. Domestic Family Terrorism creeps through out local state courts without checks and balances to citizen’s constitutional rights. Something, I cannot tolerate. Not for me, not for my children.

If the American Legion can post powerful articles in our magazine, then it’s time for all of us to take a stand for it’s veteran fathers, and our children.

Strengthen America by strengthening the Family here at home. Take a stand to protect the constitutional rights to be fathers to our children. American fathers are not irresponsible. They are ordered away from their family and home, as subjects of the court. Help protect our constitution right here at home.

Constitutional Points

 

Every Father who unwillingly is separated or divorced (by a state court) from his family and home is denied his constitutional rights which we were willing to die for under the:

1st Amendment                 The right of the people to petition the government for redress of grievances.

4th Amendment                 The right to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects.

5th Amendment                 No person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law, nor shall private
                                           property be taken for public use without just compensation.

9th                                                 Amendment Certain rights are retained by the people.

14th Amendment             No state shall make or enforce a law, nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property,
                                         without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
